The Digital Dojo was developed to use the power of the Internet to provide martial schools with a comprehensive online system to improve student retention, increase the value of student upgrades and enhance school efficiency.

  • Be dead simple to use so ALL students would be able to take advantage of the system without any prior Internet experience
  • Include the latest and greatest Internet capabilities (e.g., online calendars, Martial Arts Studentjournaling, photo/video galleries, surveys)
  • Offer features that would definitely increase student retention and student upgrades
  • From a school efficiency standpoint, make it possible to respond to almost any question from a student or student's parent by saying "you can find that on our Digital Client Support Center" (e.g., When is testing? Will classes be held next Monday? Where is the tournament? How do I pay for testing? What is your policy on ....? Where do I get such-and-such form?)
  • Offer a separate area just for school staff that can be used for updates and training
  • Offer a mechanism for students to make payments online and purchase products via an online shopping cart
  • Integrate with our Digital Enrollment Director (included with the Platinum version of the DED)
The resulting system met all of these goals and then some -- so the Digital Dojo is unequaled in the marketplace.
