Experts are predicting that Facebook is going to be bigger than Google ...
Are You Ready For The Next Revolution of Marketing?
Dear Martial Arts School Owner,
Allen Oelschlaeger here. I want to tell you a story about a meeting I went to in 2010 with a bunch of middle-age local business owners.
As you might expect, I was making a few comments about the marketing power of the Internet and one of the business owners interrupted me, looked me in the eye, and said this:
"Al, you need to understand -- us local business owners are still hoping this Internet thing is a fad."
That's been my life for the last few years as the owner of eLocalBiz Marketing. Every once in a while I run into a guy or gal that realizes what's happening but, generally, I get a lot of blank stares.
Less than half of small business owners have a website and, of those who do, only a few understand the basics.
But, as Chan said about not getting good results with advertising (see the Digitial Dojo page), it's NOT your fault!
Although the Internet is pretty easy to use, to develop an "online system" that actually works as a marketing tool is hopelessly complicated and, as a result, quite expensive to do correctly.
That's why our Digital Enrollment Director is a 100% Done-For-You system.
In our experience, business owners who try to develop and maintain an online marketing system themselves (e.g., coordinate the development, contract with a tech firm, write their own copy, hire a search marketing firm) almost always fail ...
... If not in the short term, certainly in the long term as online competition heats up (and it's heating up quickly).
Here is what's scary -- whatever level of complexity exists today, it's rapidly getting A LOT WORSE!
The Internet is no longer just about websites or even private member-only sites (like our Digital Dojo). Today, it's also about Social Media.
I'm sure you've heard of Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, the Blogosphere, and YouTube -- but there are hundreds of others.
And, just for local businesses, there are Four Square, GoWalla, Yelp and Facebook Places (what? you haven't heard of these?).
If you're already overwhelmed with what's happening on the Internet, well watch out! -- Because these Social Media Networks are on a rocket ship of growth and new ones are constantly being formed.
Facebook already has 500 million users and some experts predict it's going to be more important on the Internet than Google (if you can imagine that).
Things are moving so quickly that, frankly, it's impossible for a small business owner to keep up.
But, keep up they better.
This Internet thing is NOT going away ...
... and every one of your potential and current clients are going to be using one or more of the Social Media Networks in the VERY near future (if they aren't already).
Social Media is the Next Revolution of Marketing and martial arts school owners better get ready.
That's why we developed our Proven-To-Work, Done-For-You, 100% Guaranteed Social Media System.
We worked on this system for more than a year before we were willing to make it available to our clients. From our experience with our other systems we knew, if this Social Media System was too complex or required too much work, it would be a big waste of everyone's time -- ours and on our client's.
So, we took our time to get it right.
Here is how this system works
The starting point for this system is a proprietary technology we developed that takes almost all of the work associated with Social Media away from the school owner and puts it on us.
We give each school owner a single webpage where they can make ALL of their Social Media entries. Here they can:
- Record a video using their computer's webcam
- Record an audio using their computer's microphone or their telephone
- Type a text entry
- Upload a video or audio
Then, when the entry is submitted, we're notified and we take it from there with our crackerjack team of Social Media experts.
In other words, the ONLY thing a school owner needs to do is submit an entry one to three times per week.
Then, what we do is EVERYTHING ELSE that are the BEST PRACTICES for executing an ongoing and successful Social Media campaign -- that's 100% focused on growing your school (e.g., lead generation is the #1 priority)
I'm not going to even try to explain all that we do. If you're interested in learning more about this system, we'll get on the phone and explain it then. But, let me just say that, whatever you may have heard that should be done, WE DO -- plus a lot more.
Bottom line, you can implement a comprehensive and incredibly-effective Social Media campaign by going to a single webpage one to three times per week and making a video, audio or text entry.
Does this sound like too much work?
We thought even this may be too much work, so we've worked hard to make this a truly a Done-For-You system.
You may know Charles Chi, owner of three very successful martial arts schools on Long Island. Charles has been a client on the Martial Arts Marketing Network for several years.
Charles called me early in 2010 desperate for help. Almost at the same time as me, he had concluded that Social Media was the Next Revolution of Marketing and was trying to figure things out.
He had put up several blogs and had created accounts with the major Social Media Networks and was spending hours each week working with the various technologies and making entries to all of the sites.
I explained what we were doing and it didn't take us long to decide that a partnership was in order.
He was already spending a bunch of time each week creating "content" for his Social Media Networks. He was doing research on hot topics (see below), writing articles, developing video/audio scripts, and writing a weekly e-zine.
So, here is what we decided to do.
Charles would develop a one to two page cheat-sheet every week that we would email to our Social Media System clients. This PDF document would include article text, video/audio scripts, and ideas for making entries to our Social Media System during the following week.
Then, our clients would just need to pull up this document one to three times per week and follow Charles' suggestions (e.g., copying and pasting a text entry and then making a few edits, using a provided script to record a video or audio, making an entry based on one of Charles' ideas).
That's it -- our client would just go to the single webpage that we set up for them and, using Charles' materials make an entry one to three times per week. And, then EVERYTHING ELSE would be Done For Them.
How this system generates leads for your school
As I mentioned above, the #1 priority for this system is to generate leads. For that to happen, there needs to be a place where potential students can provide their name, email, and phone number.
That's why we include an Online Parent Resource with the system -- optimized for your local area.
Let me explain.
Social Media is about people interacting online on topics for which they have an interest. As much as we'd like one of those topics to be martial arts, that's just not the reality. Few people want to go online and "socialize" about martial arts.
But, there is a high level of interest among our target customers in such topics as bullying, childhood obesity, self confidence, Internet safety, kids fitness, and others directly related to what we do.
Therefore, it's these sorts of topics we need to be discussing -- NOT martial arts.
And, that's what our Online Parent Resource does.
We call this resource the Better Kids Institute and each of our Social Media System clients gets their own locally-optimized version of this resource. For example, the one we set up for Chan is at: http://milwaukee.BetterKidsInstitute.com.
Then, to turn this resource into a lead generator, it has an opt-in form so visitors can sign up for a weekly e-zine about child development and building great kids.
When a prospect signs up, our client gets an email notification and the emailed newsletter (also professionally written by Charles) is automatically sent out -- without any work on our client's part.
It just doesn't get any better than this. With less than one hour per week of work, our clients get leads -- with whom they can follow up -- from parents having an interest in topics related to martial arts.
And, even more important in the long term, our clients become the local recognized authority in child development.
Well, I could go on and on about this system -- but I'm going to stop here.
Bottom line, we believe we've cracked the code for Social Media marketing by making it dead simple for school owners to participate in this revolution to generate leads for their school and become the local "Big Shot" in child development.
If you'd like to learn more, just submit the form below and we'll get back to you and set up a time to talk.
We hope to have the opportunity to work with you to help you grow your martial arts school by taking advantage of this Next Revolution in Marketing.
